Alternative
OpusClip alternative
OpusClip cuts long videos into short clips and ranks them with a virality score. If you film short videos directly, there is nothing to clip, but you may still want a score and feedback before posting. That is what Viral IQ does.
We make Viral IQ. OpusClip details are from its official help center, checked October 19, 2026.
| Viral IQ | OpusClip | |
|---|---|---|
| Starting point | A finished short video | A long video to cut into clips |
| Score | Viral score 0 to 100 plus hook score | Virality score 0 to 99 per clip (hook, flow, value, trend) |
| Forecasts | Retention at 25/50/75/100%, engagement, rewatch, scroll-away risk | Ranking of clips by score |
| Feedback | What to change in this video | Which clip to pick |
| Where | iPhone and iPad | Web |
| Score availability | With subscription | Pro and Starter plans |
Use both, or one
If you repurpose podcasts or long videos, OpusClip helps you find the clips. You can then run the clip you chose through Viral IQ for detailed feedback before posting. If you only make short videos, Viral IQ alone covers the check.
Check your next video before you post it
Viral IQ scores your TikTok, Reel or Short and tells you what to fix. For iPhone and iPad.
